Ottawa Region Ice Storm
On April 16, 2018, Ottawa Region experienced heavy freezing rain and high winds causing extensive power outages to more than 22,000 residents and business, including our Ottawa office. The outage at our office took place at 1:55PM EDT causing our office to close in accordance with our Business Continuity Plan, which was activated and deployed at that time. Ottawa Hydro reestablished power to the office by 6:35PM, and members of our Business Continuity team, who remained onsite, were able to restore our systems immediately thereafter.
Our commitment to the safety of our employees and the continuity of service to our clients remain our top priority. We thank you for your patience during this time as we work to ensure all requests and claims are processed accordingly.
